The Airush Apex V9 2025 features a freeride and big air rocker that provides both comfort and performance. This rocker is slightly flatter, allowing you to pick up speed quickly and easily get on plane, for example in light wind. This is also beneficial when you want to gain speed quickly between waves for a kicker you see coming. On the underside, there is a double concave with a strong ‘center spine,’ providing excellent grip at high speeds and soft landings. In the tips, the contours of the double concave are made extra deep to create more grip during your takeoff.

For this ninth version, the Apex has received an entirely new construction. Just like the previous versions, the Apex is once again built with a Paulownia wood core. This core is known for its direct feel on the water, durability, and especially the comfort it provides. What’s new, however, is the double basalt construction. This special construction is designed to reduce the overall weight of the Apex and make the kiteboard even more efficient for lighter riders. Additionally, Airush has reinforced the kiteboard at various points to keep the balance between weight and durability in check. A lightweight top sheet is used on the top of the kiteboard, and a durable bottom sheet is used on the underside.
