So what has changed with the Switchblade in 2022? Cabrinha has made a very big update. The bridles have been completely redesigned. And this has a major effect on the Switchblade 2022. The new 2022 Switchblade therefore steers considerably faster than its predecessor and has a little bit less bar pressure. A lighter and faster steering kite makes the Switchblade an even better all-round performance freeride kite. In addition, with these improved characteristics of the Cabrinha Switchblade 2022 you can jump more easily, with more control. The pulley on the bridle has also been renewed, it is now made of ceramic, so that the pulley slides more smoothly over the bridle line.

The construction of the new Cabrinha Switchblade 2022 is still super strong. The kite’s canopy is made of a super strong Nano Ripstop. This ripstop consists of four times more squares per square centimeter than normal ripstop. This makes the canopy stiffer and the kite responds faster to steering input. The Dacron material used for the struts and leading edge is exclusively designed for inflatable kites. Potential vulnerable areas on the leading edge are reinforced with kevlar patches to prevent rapid wear.
