The Duotone TS Freestyle SLS 2027 Kiteboard is the freestyle board in the Duotone line-up for riders who mainly focus on powered unhooked tricks and wakestyle. The board is built to hold plenty of pressure before takeoff and then convert that tension into powerful, direct pop.

Grip is one of the most important characteristics of the TS Freestyle SLS. During your approach, you can edge hard and build plenty of tension before unhooking. As soon as the board releases from the water, that tension is released quickly. This creates the direct and explosive pop you need for handlepasses, mobes and other powered freestyle tricks.

The board also remains stable on landings. After a hard unhooked trick, you want the board to absorb the impact without immediately shooting out from underneath you. The shape and flex are therefore tuned for hard landings and control under high loads. This specialized character does mean that the TS Freestyle SLS is less focused on relaxed freeriding. The board requires more technique and commitment than a standard freeride twintip and is mainly aimed at riders who deliberately choose freestyle performance.

For 2027, the technical construction of the board remains largely unchanged. Duotone has updated the Team Series graphics, with the logo featuring more prominently. The shape, flex and construction remain the same as on the previous model. The Duotone TS Freestyle SLS 2027 is available in 136/40, 140/41.5 and 144/43. The larger sizes provide more surface area for heavier riders and wakestyle, while the 136/40 is better suited to lighter riders.
