Since 2013, the Lieuwe Shotgun has been one of the most reliable and high-quality kiteboards on the market. For 2026, Lieuwe introduces a new version of this kiteboard, lighter, with more grip and improved big air performance. The Lieuwe Shotgun Air Kiteboard. This board is designed for the intermediate rider who is ready to move beyond simply riding back and forth and wants to focus on big air. More jumps, more height, and more speed.

What makes this kiteboard unique is the combination of comfort and performance. Compared to the classic Shotgun, the Shotgun Air features a tighter outline, angled fins, extra channels in the tips, and a stiffer flex. This makes the board feel more direct and responsive when building pressure for a jump. At the same time, it retains enough flex to absorb chop and keep your session comfortable. The outline of the board is slightly straighter, which results in more speed and better edge hold.

The bottom shape of the Shotgun Air features a single concave with channels towards the tips, 6 instead of 4 on the original Shotgun. Including a rail channel, this gives your board more grip in the middle when riding heelside. This shaping provides a balance of speed and control. The channels help you cut through chop with stability and give you extra grip exactly when you need it, during takeoff. This is where you will really notice how the board helps you jump higher with ease. It makes the Air ideal for your first serious jumps. You keep the comfort and forgiveness of the original Shotgun, thanks to its comfortable Ultralight 3D Wood-Core construction, while gaining the ability to boost more easily.
