Not every board is for everyone, and that is exactly the point of this one. The North Atmos Pro 2027 chooses performance over comfort. A stiff carbon twintip that hands your pop straight back the moment you load it up, with grip that keeps holding on in the wildest conditions. All wrapped in a seriously bold black and white design: clean, sharp and stylish, just as we have come to expect from North.

The secret of the Atmos Pro lies in the Triaxial Pro Carbon construction. Layers of 12K wide-tow carbon and 150gsm double bias carbon deliver plenty of stiffness in both the length and the torsion of the board. On top of that, North lays its own 3DY-Beam carbon tapes exactly along the load lines, running from your bindings to the rail. So everything you put into the board while edging comes right back out again.

You notice that straight away on take-off. Carbon snaps back into its original shape at lightning speed, which means the Atmos Pro fires you into the air with explosive pop. The harder you edge, the more energy you push into the tips, the higher you go. The medium-high outline curve and the quad channel tips give you grip and let you hold height with ease, even when you hit the water seriously overpowered.

Your landing is absorbed by the double concave that flows into a deep-V spine. It breaks the surface tension of the water and makes your landings after a big jump a lot softer and more predictable. The rail channels on either side give you that bit of extra control and grip on your rail. On top of that, the Atmos Pro features a deeply integrated grab rail, the FlipTech mount system with centerline inserts and an impact resistant paulownia wood core with ABS rails.
