Versatile 4/3 wetsuit from Prolimit with loads of stretch
Which wetsuit do you use most? For nine out of ten kiters that is a 4/3. The Prolimit Fusion 4/3 Double Frontzip 2027 Wetsuit is exactly that wetsuit. Prolimit set up the Fusion as the allrounder of the collection: warm enough for April and October, stretchy enough not to hold you back anywhere and tough enough to last you a few seasons.
Where you notice that most is in your freedom of movement. The Airflex 500+ outer lining with Q stretch gives in every direction, so when you unhook, pull your bar down to your hips or tuck your knees up for a landing, the wetsuit is not fighting you. The ripstop reinforcement in the outer lining makes sure that stretch does not cost you durability. A small tear stays small instead of running across the whole panel, something you appreciate after a session where you shot through the gaps a little too enthusiastically.
On your chest and back there is a velvet warmth lining. That is the part of your body where you lose the most heat, so that is exactly where you get the extra insulating layer that holds on to your body heat and blocks the windchill. The velvet fabric also dries fast, so on a double session day you do not have to climb into a cold wet wetsuit. Arms and legs stay thin and supple, right where you want the flex.
Underneath those linings sits NaturePrene2, made with natural rubber from FSC certified plantations, oyster shell powder and recycled carbon black. So no oil based neoprene. The panels are triple glued with water based Aqua Alpha glue and blind stitched, so the needle only goes half way through the material and water stays out. The KED knee panels protect your knees without you having to bend against the material, and the YKK zip still runs smoothly after a season of salt water.
