The bigger the better? The waves can't be big enough for the new Slingshot Impact XR V1! The Impact XR V1 is made to give the rider the ultimate wave surfing feeling and Slingshot has succeeded! When you ride the Impact, you feel that the surfboard wants to tear the largest waves to pieces. Thanks to its narrower, drawn-in outline and new squash tail, the Impact feels at home in big and powerful waves. The hull is designed for easy planing and upwind flying, so you can catch the next wave in no time. Once you're on the wave, the Impact feels like a real surfboard. Step back to carve with full power, park your kite and enjoy the wave to the fullest. This year the Impact has been given a new modern Squash Tail. These two slightly rounded edges allow the water to drain well, ensuring the fastest and sharpest turns in real surf conditions. The Imapact has been given a new Thruster fin arrangement to make the surfboard stable, agile, and versatile during steep and critical moments on the wave.The Impact XR V1 has been given Slingshot's well-known XR construction. This premium construction is a combination of Bamboo and a Uni directional Carbon Stringer. Bamboo is in itself very light and strong, but combined with a Carbon Stringer that is very stiff, strong, and light, it really completes the surfboard. Along the tail of the Impact XR V1, 3K carbon rail savers have been used. These rail savers are carbon rail patches that prevent cracks, heel nicks and damage from hard landings. The Slingshot Impact V1 2023 comes with FCS II Reactor Fins. These fins are of very high quality and can be attached to the surfboard without any tools thanks to a click in and click out system.
