Slingshot has designed a new construction this past year: the XT construction. This build features an epoxy/bamboo sandwich as the foundation, along with heavy PVC foam reinforcements and extra fiberglass reinforcements under the inserts and fin boxes, making the Sci-Fly able to withstand maximum impact, so you can push your limits in every session. The rails are reinforced with 3K carbon patches to prevent cracks, dents, and damage from hard landings. Additionally, the surfboard has a carbon stringer running the entire length, providing extra strength and stiffness, giving the board a lively feel underfoot.

The Slingshot Sci-Fly XT V2 has a quad fin setup, along with a stubby nose and diamond tail, making it the fastest and most maneuverable shape ever, allowing you to make sharp and hard turns with excellent grip. A quad fin setup uses four fins, providing more drive and grip while preventing slips during aggressive turns on waves. Additionally, the surfboard features a triple-channeled hull on the bottom of the tail. These three deep channels provide extra stiffness, pop, and grip by improving water flow at the rear.

The Slingshot Sci-Fly XT V2 comes with FCS II performer and carver fins, which you can easily click in and out of the board. Carvers at the back and performers at the front give the perfect balance of powerful turns, grip, and control.
